Requirements

ESVAL asked us to perform a hydrogeological study with the objective of setting a point with hydrogeological potential to construct a groundwater collection that allows to supply drinkable water to a depleted water production system with scarce recharge and rising demand, particularly during summer.

Work Done

Gathering, validation and analysis of all the available records in the area was performed, complementing that with hydrogeological labors in the field.

Also, a geophysical prospecting study was carried out using NanoTem electromagnetics pulses and electrical resistivity tomography to finally add up the field, hydrogeological and geophysical information and with that define the location and characteristics of the well construction.

Results

Based on the studies and methodologies applied, we set the most suitable point with the greater hydrogeological potential and also set the technical bases to the construction of the groundwater collection system.
